Matthias Heinrich FROBOSE was born 11 Jan. 1846 in Ostkilver, Westphalia, Germany He Emmigrated to the United States and settled near
Pemberville, Wood Co., Ohio. He died 6 Oct 1883 and is buried in Fish Cemetery, Pemberville, Wood Co., Ohio. He married Catherina Maria Carolina LAMMERBROCK born 14 Feb 1845 in Insingdorf, Melle, Hannover, Germany. She died 24 Jul 1913 at the age of 68. She is also buried in Fish Cemetery. Matthias and Catherina had four children: Anna Maria Louise, Wilhelm Hermann, Heinrich Hermann, and John Henry.
Matthias was the son of Caspar Heinrich FROBOSE born 26 Oct. 1798 in Ostkilver, Germany and Clara Maria Althoff born in 1808. He had a brother Conrad Heinrich FROBOSE born 11 Oct 1832.
